About Our Editorial Team

Arizona Disability Resource Center is an independent Social Security Disability information and referral service for Phoenix and Arizona statewide. It is written and edited by one named person who stands behind every page — not an anonymous content mill. This page tells you who that is, how we research what we publish, and exactly how to tell us if we get something wrong.

Arizona Disability Resource Center is a legal information and referral service operated by Wilder West Assets LLC. We are not a law firm, we do not employ attorneys, and nothing on this site is legal advice. We connect you, for free, with independent licensed Arizona attorneys.

Who writes this site

Joe Styler — Founder and Editor. Joe has spent more than 20 years in online business and the domain industry, building and publishing information resources that help people find what they need online. He founded Arizona Disability Resource Center to do one thing well: take the parts of Social Security Disability law that are genuinely hard to parse — the rules, the deadlines, the numbers — and explain them in plain English for Arizonans who are applying for benefits or fighting a denial.

Joe is not an attorney, and this is not a law firm. We say that plainly because it matters. Nothing here is legal advice, and we never review the legal merits of your specific claim. What we do is research the law from its primary sources, write it up clearly, cite it by section so you can check our work, and — when you want it — connect you at no cost with an independent, licensed Arizona attorney who can advise you directly.

How we research and write

Social Security Disability touches both your health and your income, so accuracy is the whole job. Our method on every page:

  • Primary sources only. We work from the Social Security Administration’s own materials and the Code of Federal Regulations (20 CFR Parts 404 and 416), not from other blogs. When we state a dollar figure, a deadline, or a rule, it comes from the government source that sets it.
  • We cite by section. Where a rule lives in the regulations — the five-step evaluation at 20 CFR 404.1520, the 60-day appeal deadline at 20 CFR 404.933 — we name the section so you (or your attorney) can read it yourself.
  • We verify figures at publication and date them. SSA updates key numbers every year for the cost-of-living adjustment. Every figure on this site is checked against the current government source before it goes live, and the check date is shown on the page.
  • Plain English, no hype. We do not promise outcomes, rank attorneys, or use pressure tactics. We explain the process steadily and let you decide your next step.

Our editorial and corrections policy

We publish carefully, and we still expect to be told when something is out of date or wrong — laws change, figures update, and offices move. Here is our commitment:

  • Report anything. Email corrections@azdisabilitylawyer.com with the page and what looks off. Every report is read and reviewed by a person.
  • We act on it. When a report is correct, we fix the page and change its “Updated” date so you can see it was revised.
  • We show our sources. Every content page carries a Sources & Corrections block listing the primary sources we checked and the date we checked them.
  • We do not claim legal review. No attorney reviews our content, and we never imply one does. Our accuracy comes from primary-source research, not from a review we did not perform.

Sources & corrections

This page describes our own editorial process; the standards we reference are set by the Social Security Administration. Checked July 15, 2026:

We are not attorneys and this is not legal advice. Laws change. If anything here is out of date or wrong, email corrections@azdisabilitylawyer.com — we review every report and post updates.
